The Massachusetts Poetry Festival 2017

How do you talk about identity in the classroom? As educators we work hard to maintain an inclusive intellectual atmosphere in the classroom. In this workshop we will discuss the challenges of discussing identity, intersectionality, and how we can transform negative boundaries into positive destinations that allow students to become more accepting of each other's gender-identity through poetry writing and reading.
